Cindy Lou Wallace (Wehrley)
63, passed away surrounded by friends and family on December 11, 2025, in Eaton, Ohio, after bravely completing a more than 14-year journey with cancer.
She was born on December 16, 1961, in Dayton, Ohio, to William and Joan Wehrley. Cindy grew up in New Madison and Eaton and eventually made Eaton her lifelong home.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Paul Wallace; her children, David Wallace of Miamisburg, Sara Wallace of Eaton, and Leah (Aaron) Mathews of Englewood; her beloved grandchildren, Dominic, Quentin, Camden, and Kamila, whom she proudly cherished as their Nan; and her siblings, Janet (Scott) Mowry and Michael Wehrley. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Joan Wehrley, and her niece, Katie Lynne Mowry.
Cindy will be remembered for her deep love for her family, her unwavering faith in the Lord, her beautiful singing voice, and her ability to bring life and joy into every room she entered. She loved being a Nan to her grandchildren and to any child who crossed her path. She found joy in cooking and canning just about anything, crocheting, and faithfully serving on The Crew at her church.
Her kindness and faith touched countless lives, from her clients during more than 20 years as a nail technician, to teammates and friends through years of softball, to customers she served while working at the bank, and to everyone she greeted while serving at church. Cindy had a rare gift for making people feel seen, loved, and welcome, and her presence will be deeply missed.
A service to celebrate Cindy’s life will be held on December 17, 2025, at First Southern Baptist Church, 35 N. Liberty St., Camden, Ohio 45311. Visitation will take place from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., with the service immediately following. Family and friends are invited to stay afterward for a celebration filled with laughter, stories, and joy, just the way Cindy would have wanted.
