Circe Laelynn Swift, 14, of Muncie, Indiana, was taken from this world far too soon on September 18th, 2025. She was born October 22, 2010, in Tampa, Florida, and was a bright light to all who knew her.
Circe was a bubbly, thoughtful, and hilarious soul who made an impression wherever she went. She loved being outdoors, skateboarding, and creating crafts. Her favorite colors were red and black, and she enjoyed movies like Coraline and American Psycho. Circe never turned down food of any kind, was always happy with a Juice WRLD song playing in the background, and had a heart that drew her to care for others—whether helping the elderly or trying to bring home stray animals. She had a knack for bringing joy into everyday life with her silly words—her “fenners” (fingers), “armpimps” (armpits), and “alapeepee” (alopecia) are just a few of the many funny sayings that her family and friends will remember forever.
Circe was a ninth grader at Muncie Central High School, where her favorite subject was math. She will be remembered as helpful, full of laughter, and always looking out for the people around her.
She is survived by her parents Chelsey (Zac) Hagan, Jay (Krystal) Hagan, and Nathan (Tosha) Swift; siblings Valkyrie, Eden, Lillie, Remedy, Bryleigh, Zethus, and Kiara; grandparents Cheryl & Robert, Carol, and Cindy; brother-in-law Ari; and many friends, including Kaitlyn, Jamira, Dylan, and Lucy, who will all miss her dearly.
Visitation for Circe will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services, 504 W. 9th Street, Anderson, IN 46016.
