Claire Vanasse Obituary
A 20 plus year retiree of Greece Central School District, Claire had many interests, including crocheting, bird watching, solving crossword puzzles, reading, making jigsaw puzzles, and bingo. In her earlier years of retirement she enjoyed trips to Cape Cod, MA and camping throughout NYS with her daughters and grandchildren.
The family wishes to acknowledge the additional loving care Claire received from Kristie, Sara & Linda over the last few years.
Friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial, 9:30 AM Saturday, December 27 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester 14615. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Lifespan.

I will miss Ms.Claire. She was a Beautiful person and will always remember her saying puddin tang when I use to ask her what was my name !!

Well Aunt Claire, Mom preceded you by 8 days so I guess you gals decided you both needed each other on your next journey. Say hi to Uncle Ray!
Always smiling I remember and a little laugh at almost everything. Couldn´t help but smile right along with you. Especially with our trips to Boston and to the water!

Grandma Claire helped me with art projects in school. We used to take her dog for walks together, and pick raspberries behind her house. Every time I saw Grandma, there was always the promise of a happy memories, whether an adventure through Maplewood Park or a quiet visit to her house. Grandma was one of the greatest people I have ever known and I will never know anyone like her until we meet again. Rest in peace Grandma, I love you so much.
