A special woman entered this world on March 19, 1931. She was born a daughter and a sister but grew into much more. She became a mother, an aunt, a sister-in-law, a wife, and a Mimaw. She loved her Lord and would gladly tell you about Him. He took her home to be with Him on August 12, 2025. Heaven gained a little more light, but our world is a little darker.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Blanton; father, Frank Diffey; mother, Kate Copeland; brothers, Gordie and Bill; and sisters, Audrey, Geneva, Elva, and Nita.
Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughter, Sharon Jerry; grandsons, Jeremy Pardue (Stephanie) and Brandon Jerry (Angie); great grandchildren, Kaleb Pardue (Shelby), Kohl Pardue, Ethaen Fuller-Pardue, Kayleigh Pardue, Eryca Taylor, and Elayne Taylor; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
The pallbearers will be Eric Diffey, Randy Diffey, Lane Diffey, Darrell Fuller, Wesley Ragus, and Amy DeSoto.
The family would also like to thank Elara Caring Hospice and The Guest House of West Monroe for their warmth, kindness, love, and care.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made in memory of Clara to be made to North Shore Animal League, ASPCA, Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter, or The American Humane Society.
