Obituary
Clara Ann Harry, age 76, of Crestview, Florida, went to her Heavenly home on her 77th birthday, March 2, 2023. She was born March 2, 1946, in rural Leesville, Louisiana, to Frank and Mae Bell Mitchell. Clara was a dynamic woman of faith and loved her Lord and Savior. She was known for her cooking and worked throughout the community at various kitchens sharing her joy with others. Clara liked to play BINGO and her laughter radiated the room when she told many of her jokes. Most of all, she loved her family and friends.
Clara leaves to cherish her memory her son, Antonio Harry and his wife, Armetta Harry; daughters, Daphne Malone, Pamela Hutchenson and her fiancé, Rodney Crittenden, and Veronica Baker and her husband, Eddie Baker, Jr.; twenty grandchildren; and eighty-two great and great-great grandchildren, with a set of twins on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Emma Jean Williams; a special niece, Barbara Coppage and her husband, Melvin Coppage; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Clara was preceded in death by her grandson, Dominique Harry; sister, Mary Lee Price; and brothers, Edward Mitchell, Jimmy "Joe" Mitchell, James Mitchell, and Frank Mitchell.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial, 492 East Pine Avenue, Crestview, Florida. A homegoing service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 603 Martin Luther King, Jr Avenue, Crestview, Florida, with interment following to Springhill Cemetery.
