Clara Louise Brown Hinshaw

Mrs. Clara Louise Brown Hinshaw, 84, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was born to the late Austin Azrell Brown and Mollie Styers Brown. She was owner and operator of B&C Beauty Salon for 38 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gray Hinshaw; sister, Sue Brown North; and brother, Harold Gray Brown. Surviving are her daughters, Torri Sue Hinshaw and Sonja Hinshaw Church; granddaughters, Hanna Church Johnson (Nevin) and Amber Church; great-grandsons, Callum and Conor Johnson; brother, Kenny Brown (Betsy); and sisters, Jane Brown Hennings (Alvis) and Annette Brown Hennings (Joe). Mrs. Hinshaw was a life long member of Union Cross Friends Church. She was life long friends with Carol Williams and Carolyn Williams. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Union Cross Friends Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. The family would like to express a special thank you to Torri Hinshaw for the loving care given to Mrs. Hinshaw during the last few years.
