Clara Daphene Williamson Hollon, 92, of Lexington, KY passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on June 25, 2025. Born on October 30, 1932, in Georgetown, KY to the late Joe Frank and Vada Carvel Doan Williamson. Daphene was a faithful member of Bryan Station Baptist Church. She was the widow of Hardin Hollon.
Daphene enjoyed working outside in her yard planting flowers. She had a green thumb, reviving any plant back to beauty. She always had a kitchen counter lined with violets and the largest, most stunning ferns were always displayed in her living room. Daphene was also a quilter and has made numerous quilts over the years. She loved watching UK Basketball and Cincinnati Reds games. Daphene was an avid bird watcher. Growing up in a time of economic depression, she learned early in life how to make a dollar stretch and how to take care of the possessions you worked hard for, an attribute she carried throughout her life.
Daphene is survived by her three children, Freda Winer (Lynn) Dix, Joseph (Vicki) Winer, and David (Lisa) Winer, her grandchildren Penny Winer, Justin (Heather) Dix, Joseph (Gina) Winer, Seth (Toni) Dix, Brittany Winer, and Emily Winer, her great grandchildren Shelby (Jacob) Umbrell, Natalie, Trey, and Giuliana Winer; Elise and Emory Dix; Delaney and Drew Dix; Ariauna Alves; Cason Jenkins; Braelyn Winer, Amira, and Elijah Fisher; her sisters Jo Anna Boykin and Patsy Underwood. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Wanda Stone, Mary Ellen Hogue, Lottie Haas, Sonja Coker, Vivian Williamson, and her brothers Ellis Lee Williamson and William Everett Williamson.
The pallbearers will be Joseph Winer, Trey Winer, Justin Dix, Emory Dix, Seth Dix, and Drew Dix.
