Clara "Jean" Pryor, 94, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025. She was born on August 3, 1931 in Plainfield to the late Ira and Helen Snepp. Jean was an executive secretary at Duke Energy for 30 plus years before retiring. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and boating in her free time throughout her life. Jean loved spending time with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Pryor. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends and family may visit from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her daughters, Debbie (Steven) Tidler and Dana Carr Adachi; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church (1012 Stafford Road, Plainfield, IN 46168) in Jean's memory.
