Edith Margaret Byram Costin, 88, of Clayton passed away on September 7, 2025 at home. She was born on December 16, 1936 in Indianapolis to the late George and Jessie Johnstone Byram and was the 9th of 10 children. She was the widow of Myron "Barney" Costin. She held several positions at Duke Energy, where she was fondly known as "the old bat" until her retirement. She enjoyed to crochet and watching Westerns. She was a member of the Tabernacle Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday September 13, 2025 from 11 A.M. to 1 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Dave Crittendon officiating. An opportunity to speak will be open at that time. Following the service a reception will be held at the Clayton Presbyterian Church 4887 Pennsylvania Street Clayton, Indiana 46118.

Survivors include her Daughters: Sarah Roberts (Barry) and Amy Jones (Chris). Grandchildren: Eddie Inman (Jacie), Jennifer Morgan (Tony), Ian Inman (Katie) and Charlie Roberts. 8 Greatgrandchildren : London, Britlan, Lennon, Aldous, Amelia, Atlas, iris and River. Brother: Stuart Byram (Pat). The family would like to offer special thanks to her Caregiver Lonnie Jones and thanks to Gentiva Hospice for their care in her final days.
