Clara Mae Neeley Kreuzer, age 97, passed away December 7,2024 in Edna. She was born May 18,1927 in El Campo to the late Robert Henry and Beaulah Poulson Neeley. Clara was a graduate of El Campo High School. She married Walter A. Kreuzer on September 12,1946 in Alvin, Tx. Walter and Clara moved from Alvin to Houston in 1954. While living in Houston she was employed as an office worker for Sears and Joske’s Dept. Store. She was a member of First Christian Church in El Campo.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lucille Kreuzer; brothers, Jimmy Neeley and wife Mary, Donald Neeley and wife Pat; special nieces Suzette Neeley and Angela Neeley as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter A. Kreuzer; sister, Evelyn Baker; brothers, Robert M. Neeley, Norris W. Neeley and Melvin Neeley.
Visitation will begin at 3 PM on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Wheeler Funeral Home, 612 W. Jackson St., El Campo, TX 77437, with funeral service beginning at 4 PM with Pastor Adraylle Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Swedish Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to First Christian Church, 205 W. West St., El Campo, TX 77437 in memory of Clara Kreuzer.
