Clare Weyrick Obituary
CLARE WEYRICK (nee Gannon), age 87, passed away on December 24, 2023. One of ten children, Clare was born and raised in Manchester, England during World War II. She immigrated to the United States in 1972 with her sons, creating a life full of family and friends. Her English traditions, sayings, and customs are cherished by all who knew her. Clare loved to travel, especially to England to visit family. Christmas was Clare's favorite season, working year-round to make Christmas magical for her family. Clare loved being creative, spending her free time designing floral arrangements, styling hair, and drawing. Her children and grandchildren brought her the greatest joys in life. Beloved wife of the late Michael; loving mother of Craig Peck (Marsha) and Chris Peck (Claudia); dear grandmother of Jillian Lieser (Andy); cherished great grandmother of Catelyn Lieser, Connor Lieser, Jax Lieser, and Alexa Lieser; sister of William Gannon (Doreen), Derek Gannon (Irene), Myra DeAmiches (the late Frank), Maureen Short (the late Red), and all the following deceased, Norma, Sylvia, Janice, Nell, and Valerie. Adored by many nieces, nephews and family, local and abroad. All are asked to gather at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 342 S. Chilllicothe Rd. (OH RT 43), Aurora, OH on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate Clare's Mass of Christian Burial. A reception to celebrate her life will immediately follow Mass in the Parish Hall.
