Clarence "Andy" B. Anderson, age 94, of Isanti passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on August 20, 2025. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 28th at Long Lake Lutheran Church with Pastor Sue Olson officiating. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior at the church. Interment will be in Isanti Union Cemetery with Military Honors provided by Isanti VFW Color Guard.

Clarence was born January 7, 1931 on the family farm south of North Branch to Claude and Lillie (Olson) Anderson. Clarence attended school through the 8th grade at which point he needed to devote 100% of his time helping with the family farm. Clarence was drafted into the Army and served two years during the Korean War.

Clarence met his wife Carol (Bellin) at the roller skating rink in Rush City, MN. They were married on August 31, 1956 at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti and spent their honeymoon in the Black Hills. They were blessed to have celebrated 65 years of marriage. Clarence and Carol lived east of Isanti for 42 years where they provided a loving home for their 3 children Brent, Kristy and Greg.

Clarence worked at MinnegasCo as a meter reader for 37 years. He also worked every afternoon and Saturday at the Isanti OK Hardware which was his most enjoyable job. Clarence and Carol enjoyed many activities together throughout their marriage – from roller skating to square dancing, going to auctions and antique sales, and playing cards with family and friends. They were fortunate to travel to California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas and Florida. They enjoyed being Winter Texans for 26 years at Valhalla RV Park in Edinburg, Texas where they had many cherished friendships.

Clarence had a talent for refinishing antique furniture and enjoyed many years of selling his proudly restored furniture at antique shows & sales. He cherished the time he spent with his family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.

Clarence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Brent (Linda) Anderson, Greg (Kim) Anderson; daughter Kristy Anderson; brother-in-law Sonny Theline; grandsons Kyle Anderson, Chris (Samantha) Anderson, Noah (Melody) Schumacher; great grandchildren, Grace and Lucy Schumacher; many special nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; sisters Alice Sjoquist and Elaine Swenson; brother George Anderson; nephews Kevin Theline, Zach Anderson and Milo Westerberg and nieces Cindy Bostrom-Dahlin and Charlene Nyberg.
