God opened his arms and accepted Clarence Wayne Crocker on Wednesday, November 26,2025, after several years of illness. Wayne, as he was affectionately known, was born in Glendale, South Carolina, the son of the late Rev. Clarence Edward Crocker and the late Juanita Seals Crocker. He was also preceded in death by a sister: Judy C. Crocker; and a brother-in-law: Jerry Bogar.

Wayne’s journey is now complete, but he still deserves to have his years as a husband, father, and grandfather honored. Wayne’s love is scattered in many directions, family, clients, and special friends, as we call them our family. He graduated from Clemson University School of Architecture. He was in ROTC and was an Army Veteran. He had an insane work ethic up until his illness. People have stated, “You could always count on him 110%”. His love of teaching from the Bible, spoke highly of his character and who he was. The members of his life group were our cherished friends. He was elected Sertoman of the year multiple times as his devotion to this organization was important, until his illness.

His first love was to God and then to his loving family. Left to cherish Wayne’s many memories are his wife: Carol Crocker; his sons: Jeff W Crocker (Yvette), Scott D Crocker (Kathy), and Rhett Crocker (Carrie); five granddaughters: Ella, Sophia, Lily, Rachel, and Caitlyn; three grandsons: Henry, Luke, and Mason; and two great grandchildren: Riley and Ruffin; a sister: Kathy Boger; a brother-in-law: Dennis Crocker. Three nieces: Deni, Kara, and Brea; and a nephew: Clint also survive. Wayne also leaves behind his canine companion, Beau who he loved very much.

The family will receive friends between 12:00 – 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The funeral service to honor Wayne’s life will begin at 1:00 PM following the visitation with Rev. Brian Redding officiating. The burial will be private for the family and will be held following the service in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the professional staff at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House for the compassionate care given to Wayne during his final days.

Wayne’s memories will continue to live in the hearts of his family and friends.

“Well done my faithful servant”
