Clarence J. "Duke" DuBois Jr.

Clarence J. "Duke" DuBois Jr, age 82, of Luxemburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at his home following a brief illness.

Duke was born September 3, 1943, in Green Bay, a son of the late Clarence Sr and Deloris (Paye) DuBois. He attended Preble High School. Following high school, he began his lifelong career at the Georgia Pacific Mill.

On August 8, 1964, Duke was united in marriage to the former Rosemary M. Thyes at St. Hubert Church in Sugarbush. His wife preceded him in death on July 26, 2018.

Duke enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, a good card game, and relaxing by the fire. But more than anything, he cherished the moments shared with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family meant everything to him, and he treasured every opportunity to be present at his grandchildren's sporting events and life milestones throughout the years.

He was a founding member of the Algoma-Kewaunee Area Great Lakes Sport Fishing Club and a good and faithful member of St. Joseph Church in Champion.

Survivors include his three sons, Jeff (Roxy) DuBois, Steve DuBois, and Dennis (Barb) DuBois; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Adrian) Guilette, David (Nia) DuBois, John (Payton) DuBois, Addie DuBois, and Noah DuBois; great-grandchildren, Elias, Aiden, and Loretta Guilette, Bria and McKenna DuBois, and baby DuBois coming in March. He is further survived by his siblings, Bonnie (Cliff) Kollross, Mike (Sandy) DuBois, Doug (Diane) DuBois, and Rod (Karen) DuBois; and special friend, Janet Balza.

A Memorial Mass for Duke J. DuBois will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church in Champion. Father Patrick Beno will be the Celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Champion. The family will gather at the church on Saturday at 10:00 am until the hour of Mass.
