Clarence Edward “Ed” Pemberton, of Howard, OH, passed away Monday November 28th, 2022 at his home.
Ed was born in Portsmouth, OH to Clarence Edward and Merle {Horn} Pemberton. He married Rebecca on May 12, 1990.
Ed owned and operated his own trucking business. Later he worked for the Department of Corrections for the State of Ohio. Ed contributed time and effort to establish collective bargaining representation. Later he worked for the Department of Developmental Disabilities and retired from MVDC in 1999. Ed enjoyed playing poker, gardening, golfing, camping on the Kokosing River, and spending winters in Florida. He enjoyed life, laughter and Country Music.
Ed will be deeply missed by his wife, many nieces and nephews, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Ed was preceded in death by his brothers Robert Hartle and James Pemberton.
A Celebration of Life service will be Friday December 9th, 2022 at 1 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home in Mount Vernon with Pastor Clarence Hensel officiating. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
