Clarence Edward Mahlmann Jr. was born on November 1, 1961, to Clarence E. Mahlmann Sr. and Ora Nell Schley. He passed away on October 11, 2025, in Round Top, Texas. Clarence was baptized at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas, on February 4, 1962, and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Cypress, Texas, on May 30, 1976.

Clarence attended Jersey Village High School and later pursued his studies at Sam Houston State University.

He devoted more than 30 years of his life to education, serving as a teacher and counselor with both Fayetteville ISD and Giddings ISD. Clarence was deeply committed to helping students reach their full potential and continually emphasized the importance of learning, character, and personal growth.

Faith and education were central to Clarence's life. He lived his faith through kindness, service, and compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer encouragement to others. A natural caregiver, Clarence found purpose and joy in supporting those around him.

He was known as a detailed and organized individual who found joy in both structure and creativity. In his free time, Clarence enjoyed gardening, farming, playing musical instruments, writing songs, and thrifting. He also had a lifelong love of searching for petrified rocks and fishing with his grandsons-moments that brought him great peace and happiness.

Clarence was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, Clarence Sr. and Ora Nell Mahlmann; his sons, Michael Mahlmann (wife Candice) and Jonathan Mahlmann (wife Tiffany); and his beloved grandchildren, Lukas, Ethan, Mason, Nathan, Nolan, and Madilyn Mahlmann. He is also survived by his brother Charles Mahlmann; sisters Sharon Meeks (husband Alan), Linda Skinner (husband Jeff), nieces Amber Johnson (husband Bo), Ashley Mery (husband Anthony), Alyssa Myers (husband William), Emily Skinner, Kaitlyn Morris (husband Hunter) and great nephew Jaxon Johnson, and great nieces Emeri Johnson, Wynn Myers, and Kathryn Mery. He is also lovingly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Clarence's legacy endures through his generosity, dedication, and the countless lives he touched as an educator, mentor, and friend. His love and guidance will continue to live on, and he will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all.
