Clarence William (Bill) Tinch, 93, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

He was born on December 29, 1929, in Murray County, to the late Monroe and Mae Cleary Tinch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mike Tinch; brothers, J.M., Paul B., Raymond, Bob, Grady Tinch, George, Willard, Claude Hall; sisters, Nell Hall and Herlene Tinch.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Princeton Carpets. He was a member of Calhoun Church of Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife, Daisy Jean West Tinch to whom he was married for 69 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Sherry (Billy) Carter; sons, Dallas (Janice) Tinch; daughter in law, Melanie Tinch; seven grandchildren; fourteen great- grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Grapell Headrick, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 4:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include, Chad Kesler, Thomas Mullins, Eric Rice, Lamar Tinch, Tony West, Roger Tinch. Honorary Pallbearers will include Larry Tinch, Scott Hall, Tony Hall, Mitch West.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
