Dear Tim and extended family:
Pete has been part of our life for about the last 14-15 years. At first he was coming to Morgantown, WV to square dance and then started dating Mary Louise Buck (our next door neighbor). They truly enjoyed each others companionship and actually got engaged. Pete was about 80 at that time, but you would have thought he was 60. A few years later Mary Louise died, but Pete continued to see us monthly as he came to Morgantown to have his hair cut. He never failed to come see us. We loved him like a "older big brother". Pete was so fun and a joy to have in our house. We loved him unconditionally. We sent him Christmas cards and birthday cards. We got concerned when he didn't respond to our last birthday card, as he always did. He will leave an empty spot in our hearts. There was only one Pete and we are so lucky to have had him in our lives. Stacy & Debi Gartin, Morgantown, WV.
