Clarien Dixon Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Clarien was born in Dublin, Georgia, in 1938. She was married to the late John E. Dixon for 49 years. She was a member of Jackson Chapel CME Church, Saint Paul AME Church, Kingsview Church of God in Christ, and Wabash Church of God serving Christ in many capacities and ministries.
She attended the Oconee High School and worked at several factory jobs in Dublin and Laurens County. She served as a sitter for many seniors in their home. She had a monthly ministry at Dublinair Nursing Home for many years. She loved to tell others about Jesus Christ. She loved to grow beautiful flowers.
Mother Dixon passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
She is survived by her three sons, Ricky (Toby) Gillespie-Mobley, Gregg (Terri) Dixon, and Reggie Dixon. She was preceded in her death by her son, John Kennedy Dixon. She is also survived by her brother, John Norris, and her two sisters-in-law, Rita Dixon and Joyce Dixon. She gave her all for the cause of Christ.
