Clarine was born and raised in New Haven, CT to the late George William and Clarine Bentley, and has resided in Browns Mills for over 52 years. She worked as a Secretary for Bio Environmental Engineering on McGuire Air Force Base for many years before her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and knitting, and spending time with her family.
Clarine is predeceased by her beloved husband, Elmer F. (Buzz) Sawyer, Jr., and her sister Rosalyn Harris. She is survived by her children, Leslie T. Sawyer, Stephen B. Sawyer (Stephanie), and David E. Sawyer (Shannon); grandchildren, Janna, Jadyn, Eric, and Trey Sawyer; and her cousin, Margaret Southall.
At the request of the family, services will be private.
