Clarita C. Sgarbossa, age 83, a resident of Itasca. Beloved wife of Lino AKA "Fred" for 64 years; Loving mother of Dale (Lisa), Steven, Leann (Bob) Thompson, Joseph (Marla), and Mark (Katja); Cherished grandmother of 11; Fond sister of Richard and the late Larry; Dear daughter of the late Kermit and Pauline Jorgensen.
Witty, Frugal, Thoughtful, Unflappable. Dedicated Church volunteer (PADS director). Passion for roller skating and live organ music that you could feel in your bones. Avid piano and tennis player, took flying lessons until it was time to solo. Preferred her home cooking over eating out. She loved peanut butter, salt, flowers, the color blue, old TV variety shows and reading. Smart, Kind, Gentle and Sweet. With the angels.
Visitation on Tuesday, July 30, from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 31st, from 8:00 a.m. until time of Funeral, 9:30 a.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca, to Saint Peter the Apostle Church, Itasca, Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m.. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
