He is survived by his wife: Nancy Posey; children: Lyn (Mike) Hambright and Timmy (Baranda) Posey; brothers and sister: George (Martha) Posey, Quilla (Ray) Miller and Roy (Sue) Posey; grandchildren: Taylor (Fabian) Berru, Matthew (Caitlynn) Harrison, Dylan (Katie) Posey and Ashlyn Posey; great grandchildren: Hayes Posey, Mia Berru and Olivia Berru; brother in law: Rex (Stephanie) Sorrow; special friend: Shelia Brooks; host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Prudie Posey; sister: Laura Underwood; sisters in law: Shirley Jones and Carol (Woody) Faust.
Funeral Service was 12:00 p.m. Tuesday December 16, 2025, at Blountsville Funeral Home with Rex Sorrow delivering the eulogy and Greg Stone officiating. Burial was in Fowler Springs Cemetery with Michael Murphree officiating the committal service.
Visitation was at Blountsville Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m.
Pallbearers: Greg Posey, Woodrow Faust, III, Jon Faust, Paul Harrison, Mark McCombs and Mark Hewlett.
