Claude Benjamin Magnani, age 92, of Levittown, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
Claude was born and raised on his family's farm in Princeton, NJ to the late Joseph and Henrietta Magnani. Claude was very responsible from a young age, especially once his parents became ill. He grew up helping on the farm, growing tomatoes for Heinz, and working in a factory to help raise money to send his sisters to college. His generosity continued to his adulthood; He was always donating money to charities, helping the homeless, working in soup kitchens, and was a member of the Men of Harmony Choir where they would sing and put on shows for nursing homes. Claude was constantly helping his family, friends, and neighbors in any way that he could.
Claude opened his own insurance business, Magnani Insurance Service Inc., and was CEO for many years. He was previously a member, and former President, of the Morrisville Rotary Club, as well as a former Committee Member of the Levittown Democratic Party. A man of faith, he was also a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. In his free time, Claude enjoyed to travel. He has been to many places in Europe, including Italy, and most recently took a trip to St. Lucia. But above all else, Claude enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and friends. He was a hardworking man with a good heart who will be missed by all who knew him.
Claude is survived by his beloved wife of over 68 years, Vivian Magnani (nee Bratsko); daughters, Ruth Ann Magnani (Lawrence Jefford), and Kathy Stoltzfus (Andrew); sisters, Josephine Sluyter, Louise Haught, and Frida Applegate; grandchildren, James Feig, Richard Feig (Alexa), and Melissa Milanowicz (Kyle); great grandchildren, Addison and Clary Milanowicz. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Italy.
Claude is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Henrietta Magnani, and his sister, Rose Eller.

I knew Claude as a fellow Christian, Rotarian, member of the Men of Harmony and business client. He was always friendly, generous and caring and loved a good joke. He had a deep love for his family and always wanted the best for his neighbors and acquaintances. He was a role model for living a joyous life of integrity with a sense of duty.
