Professor Renshaw was one of my favorites. He made accounting fun. Before an accounting exam, he taped a Saint Matthew prayer card on chalk board. St Matthew is patron Saint of accounting.

Oh my gosh. What a wonderful man! He still impacts me every day. I love this man for how he taught and how he inspired and treated as. He gave us time to be silly, knew every place I ever talked about, played name that tune with me, helped me get myself prepared for my career, and even let my dad teach a class. This man laid my future out for me by having the faith to push me. I even came to him once about my career choice when I converted to being Catholic and reminded me "we need Catholics everywhere" and to bring my faith to me into the career. The world was blessed to have such an amazing man and we are all better for knowing him.

Claude Renshaw was my CPA Review professor. I still remember him saying, "If you get an easy question, pause and thank God before you rush onto the next question. " There were only a few easy questions, but I thanked God for every one! (I passed the CPA the first time - thanks to Mr. Renshaw's review class and excellent tips on studying for success.) I just read his obituary. I have given many stamps to the sisters over the years in response to a notice in their newsletter. I had no idea Mr. Renshaw helped create the stamp fundraiser for the sisters! Claude Renshaw truly desired for women to excel in the world of business. Mr. Renshaw positively impacted thousands of people over the years. I am sorry for your loss.

I was a Saint Mary's business major ('89) who worked 4 years in the BUAD Dept. I was blessed to have known Claude as a professor, a mentor, a boss and a friend. He tried very hard to get me to change my concentration from Marketing to Accounting. Funny thing is although my job is in Marketing, I spend a lot of time on budgets. Thank you Claude for being so invested in my success. May you rest in peace.

What beautiful memories of a wonderful man and friend. We spent many wonderful times with Mary and Renny when our children were small. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Love to Mary and family!

I came to know Professor Renshaw when my two daughters attended St. Mary´s College. My oldest daughter had him in classes and went on some of his field trips as a business major. My younger daughter also knew him from working in the business office at St. Mary´s. Although I didn´t know him very well, he always addressed me by name when I saw him. He was a person of high-quality and integrity, and I felt comfortable with him being a role model for my daughters.
