Michael Kevin Hinske; Age 68 of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 at his residence.
He was born on August 14, 1957 to Donald A. and Mary E. Hinske (nee: Collins) in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Michigan State University and was the 3rd generation owner of RAE Manufacturing in Port Huron, Michigan.
Mike is the beloved father of Julie Ann Hinske, Lisa Marie Madden (Bob), Jamie Lee Hinske and Donald Michael Hinske. He is a proud grandfather of Justin Hinske, Kameron Johnson, and Kaleb Johnson. Dear brother of Patty (Ed) Howell and Mary Beth (Robert) Adams. Formerly married to Deana Vitale (nee: Pelton).
Michael's grandfather started RAE Manufacturing in the 1940s on 8 Mile Road in Hazel Park, Michigan. Michael learned the trade of running screw machines, at the family business, while attending High School. He purchased his first car when he was only 16 years old. When the company fell on hard times in the 1970s, Mike left college (MSU) to lend a hand and eventually took over as sole owner. He moved the company to Port Huron, Michigan and grew the business into a multimillion-dollar CNC company.
