Anton Joseph Griffel "Tony"; Age 74 of Clinton Township, Michigan passed away Friday, January 23, 2026 at his residence.
He was born on August 16, 1951 to Anton and Rose Griffel (nee: Langart) in Munich, Germany. He came over to the United States when he was less than 1 year old. Anton graduated from East Detroit High School with the class of 1970. He earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan. Tony supplied ink for business machines and established a company called Laser Saver.
An avid card player and enjoyed the game of "Texas Holdem". He liked to fish and was a Detroit Red Wing fan. Tony will be missed by his 4 legged friend.
Anton married Janice McVicar on November 10, 1978 in Royal Oak, Michigan and is survived by her, along with 2 Daughters, Addie (Richard) Stiver and Jessica (Timothy) Greschak. He is the proud grandfather of Cameron Gerschak, Madison Greschak and Margaret Stiver.
