Claude Joseph Roberts (Papa CJ) 75 of Tiger and Louisville, GA passed away in the VA Hospital in Augusta, GA on October 4, 2025. He was the son of Claude R. and Dora Turpin Roberts born December 4, 1949 in Atlanta, GA. He was a Veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam and was the recipient of 4 Purple Hearts. He was past Commander of VFW Post 7339 in Franklin, NC. He was a mechanic by trade.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Hunt Roberts of Tiger. Daughters Erin Scott, Karina Blackwell, and Christina Roberts. Son James Roberts. Sister Deborah Hunter. Several Grandchildren and other family. He is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Dora Roberts, sister Beverly Timms and brother David Roberts.
There are no funeral plans at this time.
