Claudette Felczak

Claudette (Monk) Hensel Felczak, the hardest working woman we have ever known, has entered the Kingdom of Heaven. Forever known as the faithful caregiver to all. Whether it was Mama, Mom, Mommy, Nannie, Nan, Nannie Bean, Nannie-Did, sister, aunt or friend, we are blessed to know and love her. She would insist upon gathering the family and "the orphans" every holiday, and plan to overfeed us all. Being a blood relative was irrelevant to her.
Just shy of her 90th birthday, Claudette was born in Colerain township as a farmer's daughter. Life was never easy for her, but she faced it head-on and always did her best. Never allowing herself to rest, she worked her whole life starting on the farm, Tidy's Sewing Factory, The Woodside Diner, Dart Container, The Embroidery Company, and as a driver for her friends in the Amish Community.
Eagerly awaiting her for a glorious reunion in Heaven, were her parents, William and Ethel Monk, her oldest son, Ricky Allen Hensel Sr., grandsons Ricky Allen Hensel Jr., Robert Joseph Hensel, granddaughter Rebecca Marie Hensel, multiple siblings and a large extended family.
Left behind in tears are her children: Brenda Buzzard, wife of Randy; William Hensel Jr., husband of Linda; Donna Miller; Antoinette Anderer, wife of Michael; Teresa Cozzone, wife of Chris and Lisa Hess, wife of Robert. She was the proud matriarch of 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Also surviving family members: brother Jay Allen Monk, husband of Joyce; travel buddy and niece, Patty Monk; and husband, Anthony Felczak.
A Funeral Service will be held at Dewald Funeral & Cremation Services 227 W. 4th St. Quarryville, PA. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Viewing and greeting the family will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Interment will take place with immediate family at a later date.
