Claudia Lynch

Claudia Burke Lynch, age 91, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, February 28, 2026 at her home in Corbin, Kentucky. She was a loyal and committed wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and most of all Faithful and Devoted Christian. Claudia was reunited in Heaven with her husband Dale Gilbert Lynch, son Rev. Donald Dwayne Lynch, grandson Luke Patterson, four brothers, Chester Roy Burke, Jr., Delbert Burke, Billy Ray Burke, James "Jim" Burke,; three sisters, Aileen Smith, Louise "Tootsie" Lanham, and Mary Rose Burke,; parents Chester Roy Burke Sr., and Nora Jump Burke, several brother and sister and laws, and many precious nieces and nephews.

Claudia was born on March 28, 1934, in Corbin, to the late Chester Roy Burke, Sr. and Nora Jump Burke. She attended Lynn Camp High School and retired from the Nearly New Shop in 2002. Claudia was a proud Kentucky Colonel, a passionate UK Wildcat fan, and a devoted member of the Corinth Baptist Church.

Left to love and cherish her memory are her daughter, Clara Lynch Patterson and husband Nim of Corbin, Kentucky; grandson Chris Patterson; granddaughter Sarai Patterson both from Corbin, Kentucky; her precious best friend and great granddaughter Madison Patterson of Orlando, Florida; one brother Keith Burke of Sacramento, California; two sister in law, Jewel Burke of Shepherdsville, Kentucky., and Rolena Tate of London, Kentucky. Three special friends Laura Beth Pennington of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Sarah Pennington (Crystal) of Louisville, Kentucky, Lynn Pennington of Louisville, Kentucky. Also a host of nieces, nephews, and beloved friends who morn her passing.

On February 28, 2026 Claudia fell asleep here on earth to wake to the glory of Heaven. The legacy she leaves behind is the lasting impact she had on everyone that knew her. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

The family would like to thank Bluegrass Hospice for all their support, kindness, compassion, and love shown to mother and our family. To Debbie Smith for the numerous times you have stayed, came at short notice without question to and helped, went above and beyond what you had to do. We love you.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home

Funeral services will be at 2 pm, Wednesday, March 4th, 2026 at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Randy Love officiating, burial following at Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky, along beside her son Rev. Donald Dwayne Lynch and husband Dale Gilbert Lynch.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
