Born with a strong work ethic, Claudia was a longtime court stenographer for the Kent County Courthouse. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed reading, gardening, trips to Block Island and catching a performance at the Theatre By The Sea. She loved being in the company of her pets, but above all, she was most happy spending time with her grandchildren. Claudia will be missed tremendously by all those who knew and loved her.
She was the devoted mother of Mark Read (wife, Rachel) and the cherished 'Gramma' of Oliver and Charlotte. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joan O'Lone and Thomas Crosby.
In accordance with her wishes, Claudia's services will be private.
