Marguerite R. Cabral

Marguerite R. (Judd) Cabral, 98, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Born in Providence, she was the cherished daughter of the late Walter F. and Lavern M. (Paradise) Judd, and the devoted companion of the late Robert Botham.

A lifelong resident of Warwick, Marguerite was the proud mother of three children: Carol A. Minear (late Ronald Minear), and the late Joseph D. and Kevin C. Cabral. Employed for W.L. Fuller Inc. for over 30 years she worked hard to support her family. She especially treasured her role as grandmother to Robin Lapp (Michael), Donald Marcille (Patricia), Kim Moniz, Tonya Peabody (Chris), Richard "Ricky" Cabral, and Joseph Cabral. Her family continued to grow with the blessing of eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She was predeceased by her siblings Walter, Peter, Lawrence, John, William, and Lavern Judd, as well as Eileen Walsh.

In her free time, Marguerite could often be found at VFW Post 272, where she was a lifelong member, playing high-low jack or Keno. She was also a proud member of American Legion Post 43 in Warwick and delighted in her yearly trips to Las Vegas. Above all, Marguerite's greatest joy came from her family, who will hold her memory close and miss her deeply.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30am to 11:30am on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. Warwick. Her funeral service will be held at 11:30am in the funeral home chapel. Her burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
