Jane A. (Waters) Thibodeau, 94, a retired language lab technician for Classical High School, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the South County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. P. Thibodeau. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Heffernan) Waters.

Jane was the beloved mother of Joseph P. Thibodeau and his wife Karen, and the late Maureen G. Taylor, mother-in-law of Ralph Taylor. She was the loving grandmother of Charles, Gina, Jason, Elijah, Bethany, Jennifer, Jared and the late Adam and Joy, and the loving great-grandmother of Caleb, Jessica, Cassidy, Victoria, Gabriella, Antonia, Andrew, Scarlet, Dante, Chester, Orianna, Isabella, and a loving great-great-grandmother.

Jane prided herself in supporting her children, serving as the president of the Parent Teacher Association, and the Cub Scout Den Mother for Pack 1 Providence for 25 years. She called Washington Park home for 49 years, and was an active member of the Washington Park Community Center. Jane was a proud member of the Rhode Island Police Officers Emerald Society.

Her visitation will be held Friday, October 3, 2025, from 11-12pm, followed by a service at 12pm in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. She will be laid to rest with her husband in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
