It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Claudia Rocio Sanchez. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, who left us far too soon at the age of 57, who left us to be with her beloved son on January 24, 2025. She was born on December 24, 1967, to Rosalinda Gonzalez Barajas and Jose Torres in Mexico. She attended Oklahoma City Community College and married Santiago Sanchez in 1987. Together, they had three sons: Cesar Santiago, Giovanni Jesus, and Ivon Amado. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by family after a courageous life filled with laughter, love, and resilience. Claudia was a woman who made her presence known the moment she entered a room, not just with her distinctive style always with her makeup done to perfection and jewelry that sparkled as brightly as her personality but with her unforgettable sense of humor. She was always ready with a quick joke or a story that would make everyone laugh, regardless of the situation. Enthusiastic gardener, Claudia found peace in nurturing her plants, which like her grew strong and beautiful. Her love for nature was unmatched only by her love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an unshakable supporter of their creativity, always encouraging them to dream big and imagine the impossible. Though life presented its challenges, Claudia never allowed hardship to diminish her spirit. She faced each obstacle with courage and an unrelenting smile, showing us all the power of perseverance and joy in the face of adversity. Outspoken and full of life, she never hesitated to speak her mind. Making her one of the most genuine and fearless individuals to walk this earth. Claudia leaves behind a legacy of laughter, creativity, and the importance of living life fully and authentically. She was unequivocally the most beautiful, funny, and most courageous soul.
