He is survived by:
His mother: Ruby Gozell (John) of Hornersville.
One daughter: Jocelyn McCay (Logan) of Senath.
One brother: Carl Burns (Donna) of Hornersville.
Nieces and nephews: Trenton Burns (Shelby), Paisley Burns, Jaxon Burns, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Maxwell and his father Virgil Burns.
Visitation will be 10:00 am-11:00am Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at McDaniel Chapel in Senath. Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Reverend Troy Alley officiating. Burial in Lulu Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: DeWayne McElwrath, Matt Cunningham, Greg Stallings, Danny Williams, Larry Pannells and Don "Whitey" Wallace. Honorary pallbearers: Roger King, Mike Lovelace, Charlie Cooper, Barry Blankenship, Bill Cunningham, Jim Schell and Brannon Alexander.
