Clayton E. Abrams, 67, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away on October 31, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 17, 1957, in Cambridge, Ohio, Clayton was a proud husband to Melissa (King) Bauman, a devoted father to Sarah Abrams and Taylor King. He is also survived by his brothers Leonard Jr., Stephen, Robert, and Jeffery Abrams.
Clayton was a man who cherished his family above all else. A loving husband and father, he found joy in spending time with his loved ones. His passion for the outdoors led him to enjoy fishing, hunting, and camping.
Throughout his life, Clayton worked as a truck driver and also for Thomas Lumber Company for several years.
Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Wanda (Clagget) Abrams; his sisters, Linda Richmond and Carolyn Abrams; his brothers, Ronnie, Russel, and Gary Allen Abrams.
In remembrance of Clayton's life, his family welcomes all those who knew and loved him to join them in honoring his memory at the upcoming services. Rest in peace, Clayton. You will forever be cherished and deeply missed.
A public viewing will be held at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye Street, Crooksville, Ohio, on Monday, November 4, 2024, starting at 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, Clayton will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery.
