Obituary of Clayton William Chadwell
Clayton William Chadwell, vibrant and larger-than-life, passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 51, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Born on March 26, 1973, in Royal Oak, Michigan, Clayton left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew him.
With unwavering passion and intensity, Clayton loved fully and completely, touching the hearts of everyone around him. His love was a force to be reckoned with, and those who experienced it were forever changed. His devotion to his family, friends, music, and pets was unshakeable, and his knowledge was vast and impressive.
Clayton was a man of many talents: storm chaser, miner, lapidary artist, adventurer, masterful musician, and storyteller, able to captivate audiences with his words and draw them in with his infectious enthusiasm. His presence was commanding, and his love was a gift to all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ashley Chadwell; daughters, Verra and Isla Chadwell; mother, Patricia Ann Chadwell; sisters, Shawn Newport and Shannon Parker; nephew, many nieces; and friends who loved him dearly. Clayton was preceded in death by his father, Mose Chadwell.
Though his time with us was limited, Clayton's impact will be felt for years to come. His legacy of love, knowledge, and passion will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Rest in peace, Clayton. Your love and light will never be forgotten.
