Clayton Dean Cloke, 38, of Eldon, IA passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. As were Clayton's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the KD Center in Eldon, IA. Memorial contributions in Clayton's honor may be directed to the family for his children and mailed to 708 8th St., Eldon, IA 52554. Friends may leave online condolences at www.cranstonfamilyfuneralhome.com.
Clayton Cloke was born to Dave Cloke and Glenda Hancock in Ottumwa, IA on January 21st, 1987. Clayton attended Cardinal High School where he graduated with the class of 2005. After graduating, he worked for Norris Paving for 12 years before beginning at Chickering Foundations where he was currently employed.
On the 13th of March 2013, he was united in marriage with Katie Saner. The two later went their own way but always remained close for the children. Clayton loved music, especially playing guitar, and stayed physically active through frisbee golf. Faith played an important part in Clayton's life and during difficult times he turned to reading his Bible.
Clayton is survived by his parents, siblings Allen (Tiff) Cloke of Eldon, IA and Sarah Cloke of Madison, Wisconsin; two children, Kolbi Saner and Aubree Cloke; His grandfather, Bill Hancock; special friends, Mallary and Jordan Reisch, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Patty Hancock, Nancy and Ralph Manlove, and Frank Cloke Sr.
