Clayton Lee Compton, age 23, passed away on January 11, 2026 in Kermit, TX. He was born on September 19, 2002 in Odessa, TX to Charlie Compton and Adrienne Schubert.

Clayton was a very creative individual. He had a passion for building things and was an artist. Clayton was a skilled musician with the ability to play numerous instruments with his favorite being the guitar. He was a very giving person and loved animals. Family was very important to Clayton, he had a deep love for his brothers and sisters who called him "Bubba Clay". He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Those left to love and cherish his memories are his father: Charlie Compton of Irving, TX; mother: Adrienne Schubert and fiancé Michael McKee of Kermit, TX; brothers: Anthony Rice and Kole McKee both of Kermit, TX; sisters: Lillie McKee and Nora Lee McKee both of Kermit; and cousin: Colton Millard.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Arthur Schubert, Leonora Schubert and Andy White.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Family Services Funeral Chapel, officiated by Linda Catania. Cremation will follow. Honorary Pallbearers are Colton Millard, Jonathan Ladig, Anthony Rice, Jayden Zygner, Kole Mckee, Michael McKee, David Schubert, and John Bray.
