Clayton E. Henderson

Clayton E. Henderson, age 78, of Media, PA, formerly of Chester, PA, died on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Clay was a graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1964, where he was active in soccer and baseball. He also played slow pitch softball. Speed was a big part of Clay's game in all sports. He received his Associate's Degree from Goldey-Beacom College.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during Vietnam.
Clay was a realtor, co-owning Henderson and Wood Real Estate and then continuing his career with Weichert Realtors. He was also a bus driver with Rose Tree Media School District just shy of 20 years.
Clay was a devoted follower of Jesus and prayer warrior. He was a founding member of Gateway Community Church and served on the Leadership Team. Clay led Bible study groups, delivered stewardship messages, spent time with the children's church, and prayed with Vacation Bible School groups.
He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Union Fan. Most importantly, Clay cherished spending time with his family and adored his grandsons.
Son of the late James S. and Alverda Henderson, Jr., Brother of the late James S. Henderson, III.

Loving wife of 46 years: Janet (Towson) Henderson
Daughter: Megan (Kevin) Ahern
Grandsons: Landon Michael, Grayson Luke and Weston Clay
Sister-in-Law: Rosemarie Henderson
Nephews: James S. (Rita) Henderson IV. and John Henderson
Visitation: Wednesday, March 26th from 10:00 -11:15 AM at Gateway Community Church, 708 S. Old Middletown Rd. Media, PA 19063.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 26th at 11:30 AM at the church
Interment: Edgewood Memorial Park
