He was born July 30, 1959 to Clayton Hennessy, Sr. and Edna Tucker Scott.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill No.2 Baptist Church Cemetery in the Ashridge Community. Brother Brandon Banks will officiate.
Clayton is survived by his wife, Betty Cagle Franks Hennessy; sons, Michael Franks, Timothy (Felicia) Franks; and Christopher (Melissa) Franks; grandchildren, Bynum Franks, Eli Franks, Cayden (Jake) Hood, and Haley Thorton; great grandchildren, Waylen Moody and Grayson Hood; father, Alfred Scott; one sister; several stepbrothers and sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Scott.
