Donald Charles Hennessy completed his last adventure on October 26, 2025 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Scarborough, Maine.

Donald was born in Biddeford Maine on November 24, 1969, son of Rena (Binette) Hennessy and Charles Hennessy Jr.

He attended Biddeford Schools, including St Mary's School, graduating from Biddeford High School. Donald graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management Technology, received an A.A.S. in Architecture Engineering Technology from New Hampshire Technical Institute, and became certified in the areas of laboratory testing, Quality Control, and Hot Mix Asphalt.

Donald was a Boy Scout as a young child, enjoying its activities. He got his first toddler bike at three years old and never looked back, graduating to regular bikes, trick bikes, mountain bikes and motorcycles. He was an avid skier and enjoyed snowmobiling and snowshoeing as well.

Don lived for all outdoor activities. He tracked his adventures in pictures and gifted calendars of those adventures each Christmas.

Donald was a dedicated worker at RW Gillespie and Associates in Sanford, Maine as Laboratory Supervisor, for Commercial Paving and Recycling Co., Scarborough, Maine as Materials Technician, and most recently at Shaw Brothers Construction, Inc., Gorham, Maine in Quality Control.

Donald was predeceased by his parents and his grandparents.

He is survived by his Aunt Julia Hennessy, Uncle Don Binette, cousins Scott Binette and Nicole (Binette) Passeggio, and friend Pam Herrera.

Donald also leaves more adventure friends than one could imagine.
