Isabelle Marie Hennessy

Isabelle Hennessy (nee Niedzwiecka), 60, passed away on October 22rd, 2025.
Family isn't everything: it's the only thing. Isabelle is survived by her husband Michael W. Hennessy, her son Michael F. Hennessy, and daughter Madeline R. Hennessy, PhD. Her loving siblings Chistopher Niedzwiecki (Mona), Gisele Manella (John), Jean-Yves Niedzwiecki (Cindy), and Wanda Pucci (David). In-laws Timothy Hennessy (Claudia), Elizabeth Hennessy, Joseph Hennessy (Edna) in addition to innumerable nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leslaw and Wanda Niedzwiecki, her siblings, Marc and Danuta Niedzwiecki, and extended family William and Roselyn Hennessy and Mary Schuhl.
Isabelle was a devout woman of God. She encouraged everyone to:
"Be strong and courageous!
Do not be afraid or discouraged.
For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
Her strength, energy, and encouragement were always palpable to those around her.
Izia was born in Chicago and moved to Wauconda, IL in 1994 where she was dedicated to her community as a D118 school bus driver for 18 years. Early on, she volunteered in many organizations such as Meals-On-Wheels, Boy and Girl Scouts of America, and Campfire Kids. She enjoyed being a part of the community, where she organized the 'Bus Bumpers' to compete in sand volleyball. She loved fishing and boating on the Chain O' Lakes, paroozing art and craft fairs, was an avid camper/outdoors person, music enthusiast, and TRULY ENJOYED to be around those she loved.
To celebrate Izia's incredible life, please join us Monday, October 27th at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 348 W. Mill St., Wauconda, with visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 AM and Mass at 11:00 AM. transfigurationwauconda.com. Burial will follow at Transfiguration cemetery in Wauconda, IL.
