Clifford S. Brown, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, at McLaren Macomb hospital at the age of 66.

Born on May 7, 1959, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Clifford was the second of six children born to James and Thelma (Grady) Brown. From a young age, Clifford's life was grounded in faith-he was baptized at Greater Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J.C. Clayborn and was a faithful attendee of Sunday School.

Clifford attended Christian Clemens School and later Macomb School before graduating from Mt. Clemens High School. After high school, he proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army, where he served for three years.

A natural conversationalist, Clifford never met a stranger. His love for people was matched only by his love of laughter-always quick with a joke and a smile. He worked for many years in construction, earning a reputation as a hard worker and dependable friend. Outside of work, Clifford enjoyed life's simple pleasures: he was an avid baseball fan, an exceptional cook (especially known for his seafood dishes), and someone who gave generously to those around him.

Above all, Clifford was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man with a heart full of love. His warmth, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters, Sydney Brown of Atlanta, Georgia and Gianna Brown of Mt. Clemens, Michigan; his parents, James and Thelma Brown; sisters, Lisa and Kay Brown of Mt. Clemens, Michigan; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The family honors the memory of Clifford and invites you to visit and share memories Thursday, August 28 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Mt. Clemens. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 29 with 10:30 a.m. visiting. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Wishes of the Family.
