Grace Ann Eberts, affectionately known to family and friends as Kitty, passed away on May 30, 2025, in Harrison Township, Michigan, at the age of 89. Born on September 3, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan, Kitty was the cherished daughter of Kathleen Vine Sharpe and John Sharpe. She was the youngest of ten children, raised in a household rich in love although modest in means.

Kitty's formative educational years culminated in her graduation from Mt. Clemens High School in 1953, and shortly thereafter, she began her career at the Willy Sign Company in Mt. Clemens. It was there that she met her future husband, Harry John Eberts, whom she married in 1955. Together, they built a loving home in Mt. Clemens, where they raised their five children—Mike Eberts (Jan), Jacki Baker (Tim), Kathi Neu (Bud), Nancy Jones (Brian), and Julie Todaro (Jim). Kitty took great pride in her family and their accomplishments, and her legacy continues through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her devotion to her family, Kitty had diverse interests and passions. She was known for her love of Tom Jones and gambling, and her home was always a welcome refuge for her children's friends, characterized by loud music and festive pool parties. Her spirit fostered a sense of joy and togetherness that will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Kitty's career as a pharmacy technician spanned many years until her retirement in 1994, but her greatest achievement remained her role as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sister, Irene Basmadjian, as well as her children, grandchildren; Natalie, Roland, Dian, James, Ryan, Paige, Kyle, Derek, Tara, Ian, Sean, Stephanie, Courtney, Shannon, Joseph, and Jillian, and great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Nolan, Ellery, Coen, Summer, Isaac, Weston, Thaerin and Reese.

Kitty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry. As a mark of respect for their bond, she will be interred with him at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. A memorial service to honor her life and legacy will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends the opportunity to come together in remembrance of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.
