"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." II Timothy 4:7
Clifford "Don" Dickson was welcomed into the world to proud parents Clifford Longfellow Dickson (deceased) and Jeannie Mae Dickson (deceased) on August 31, 1951.
At an early age, he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Greater Bell Zion Baptist Church in Texas City, Texas. Don was a proud graduate of Lincoln High School – Class of 1969 and was a stand-out football player for the Lincoln Mighty Eagles. Furthering his education, he attended College of the Mainland and Prairie View A&M University where he studied accounting and pledged the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
Don was employed by NASA contractors Ford Aerospace and G.B. Tech where he served as an inventory management representative.
Don's life displayed that of a loving and dedicated brother, uncle, cousin and friend. His humor, easy-going temperament, and selfless nature is a true representation of his character. He was a natural artist who enjoyed crafting leather goods in his spare time. He loved family outings, playing dominos, watching westerns and all sporting events.
On Monday, May 2, 2022, Don returned to the loving arms of God. Don was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Jeannie Dickson, and niece Tyra Spiller.
Don is survived by his devoted and loving siblings, Carolyn F. Spiller (La Marque, TX), Janice D. Craddock (Pearland, TX), and Stanley E. Dickson (La Marque, TX); niece Tamela R. Spiller (Dickinson, TX); nephew Donald R. Spiller II (La Marque, TX); special friend Lovera Earls; and a host of relatives and friends.
