Clifford McGeehon Obituary
Clifford J. McGeehon, 56, of Keokuk, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at his home in Keokuk.
Clifford was born on February 19, 1968, in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Clifford McGeehon and June Judd. He worked in construction for many years before starting employment at HyVee in Keokuk. Clifford was a jack of all trades and loved to tinker on anything he could get his hands on. He was a talented carpenter and tradesman and could fix just about anything. He loved Guns and Roses and was a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan.
Clifford is survived by his special nephew Jamie Remick of Keokuk, who affectionately called him Uncle Guinness; his niece Megan Turner of Fort Madison; his sister Christine Cline of West Burlington; three brothers: Clayton McGeehon of Arizona, Billy Keever of Nashville, Illinois, and Martin Gaylord of LaHarpe, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Dorothy June and Alice Ann, his niece Julie Sipes, his nephew Travis Gaylord and his great-niece Latasha Sipes.
Services will be held at a later date.
