Danny McGeehon, a devoted husband, father and “Pop Pop”, passed away peacefully May 6, 2024, surrounded by his family. Danny was born July 16, 1955, in Tuscola IL, a son of Teddy Dean and Lida Marie (Warner) McGeehon.

Danny is survived by his wife of 37 years Karen, two daughters Megan and Shanna (Chris), granddaughter, Avery, grandson, Payne, his mother, Marie McGeehon, two sisters, Teresa (Darrell) Carpenter and Vivian McGeehon, one brother, Doug (Kim) McGeehon, and many more loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Teddy McGeehon.

Danny worked 32 years in the printing industry and 12 years at Home Depot, but his greatest joy was found in his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, swimming and camping with his little monsters (Avery and Payne).

Danny’s passing will leave a great void in the lives of all that knew him. His spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of those who loved him.
