Clifton Tex Bolin

Clifton Tex Bolin, 85, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Edgewood Health and Rehab in Springdale, Arkansas. Born on April 11, 1940, in Healing Springs, Arkansas, he was the son of Rufus Franklin Bolin and Eunice Margaret Chenoweth Bolin. Clifton married the love of his life, Calla Paulette Eastep on November 21, 1979, in Bentonville, Arkansas. As a farmer and a real American Cowboy, Clifton loved anything cow, horse or rodeo. He loved road trips to the West and story telling. Mr. Bolin was an avid reader of U.S. History and western novels. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eunice Chenoweth Bolin; his father, Rufus Bolin; his brother, Bradley Bolin. He is survived by his wife, Calla Bolin of Springdale, Arkansas; three sons, Clifton Dwaine Bolin (Debbie J.) of Gentry, Arkansas, Lynn Bolin (Debbie F.) of Westville, Oklahoma, and Jimmy Eastep (Misty) of Gentry, Arkansas; his daughter, Yvonne Couch (T.J.) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Buddy Bolin (Jessica) of Gentry, Arkansas, Cody Bolin of Westville, Oklahoma, Carissa Bolin of Westville, Oklahoma, Cody Jenkins (Barbara) of Scranton, Arkansas, Lawton Eastep of Bentonville, Arkansas, Hanna Maggard of Rogers, Arkansas, and Julian Couch of Fayetteville, Arkansas; seven great-grandchildren; his sister, Patti Philpott (Randy) of Lavaca, Arkansas; his brother, Dexter Bolin (Jimmie) of Oologah, Oklahoma; his sister-in-law, Linda Rush-Bolin (Bradley DCD) of Strang, Oklahoma. A visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Wasson Funeral Home with a committal service to follow at Elm Springs Cemetery in Elm Springs, Arkansas.
