Clifton “Eddie” Caughlin

Clifton "Eddie" Caughlin was born on February 13, 1960, and was reunited with the love ofhis life, Virginia, on July 17, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ann Caughlin, sister, Alesa Ann Caughlin-Spillers and mother, Billye Ann Hayden-Caughlin.
He is lovingly remembered by his father, Brooks Edwin Caughlin; his children, Clifton Caughlin (Sue), Nicole Shields (Chaz), Kimberly Wilson, Kristopher Caughlin (Zia), Melanie Tedder (Ronel), Tammy Duplissey (Bud), and Ashby Tedder (Lindsey); 19 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a wide circle of friends, colleagues, and extended family who were blessed to know him.
Eddie was known for his quiet strength, his steady hands, and the way hed give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He dedicated over two decades of his life to Graphic Packaging, where he worked since 1999. His work ethic and loyalty were traits that earned him the respect of colleagues and reflected the kind of man he was both on and off the clock.
He had a deep love for his family, a strong sense of responsibility, and a heart that carried more than he let on. He worked hard, laughed soft, and lived for those he loved. They all mourn the loss of such a strong man and role model.
His presence was a steady light, and his memory will live on in every life he touched.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Amazing Grace Worship Center in Calhoun, Louisiana.
