Clifton L. (Clif) Perdue, age 73, passed away August 29, 2025.
He was born overseas into a military family that eventually
settled in El Paso, TX where he spent the first half of his life.
He developed a great love of music growing up and was a
member of several bands. He played different instruments but
his favorite was guitar. His love of music continued his entire
life. He also spent a lot of time fishing for trout and camping in
the mountains. He was a long time resident of Kingwood, TX,
during which he developed his love for saltwater fishing. This
led him to get his charter captain certification that he used for
his part-time offshore charter fishing business. He loved to be
able to show others the joy that fishing could bring. His
interest in computers led him to a career in computer
technology.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel H. and Akira
K. Perdue. A veteran of the US Army, Clif is survived by his
loving wife of 41 years, Cindi (Creed) Perdue; sister, Cyndy
(Perdue) Hubler and several cousins, nieces, nephews and
other family members. At Clif's request, all arrangements are
private. A celebration of life is planned for friends and family
at a later date. He will be remembered for his love of all
things music, saltwater fishing, and trout fly fishing. He had a
wonderful sense of humor for which he will also be
remembered. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to
the Coastal Conservation Association of Texas.
